Potions Homebrew As one use items are silly overpriced in 5E, let's borrow much of the System from 3rd for pricing. Since its consider 3.75, we can borrow most of the SRD used for Pathfinder. What we'll be doing is considering Potions to be a type of magic that can be used by any user. Instead of the base potion price, we'll use the scroll math, with the universal amount being 50 gold instead of the 25 gold used by the scroll tables. This will serve as the base for calculating the time to create each item. That said, the actual cost is half the selling price. Remember, only one magic project may be worked on per day.
