Rule 20: Time and Aging

The game has many mechanics that may cause aging to a character.  It also has mechanics that may imprison a character for centuries or move them to a different point of time.

Traveling between different planes can teach players that time doesn't run the same in different dimensions.  A few days in one plane may be the same as months in another.

As far as aging that may be a side effect of that, there are several methods of reversing that already in the game.  I'll add some in the magic threads to follow.

In addition, a single spell of Wish magic does have the potential to move a character's age forward or backward up to 25 years or 25% of a creatures potential lifespan (whichever is greater).

Rule 21: Wish magic and virtually unlimited possibilities for both the players and their enemies...

First, know my rulings on Wish magic is simple.  As from the time of 1st edition AD&D, you get to state in 25 words or less in what way would you like reality to bend for you.   There is no other cost, unless its a material component for a spell you aim to mimic.

If you want to mimic a spell, of 8th level or lower, you'll just do it.  If you wish to raise an attribute, up to each attribute's maximum benefit, you just do it.

If you want something beyond that, as stated above, its 25 words or less.  The 25 words are the key, as it is my job to see if there is any way for reality to insert something you didn't expect, from what you said or did not say.

After all, the grandest magic of DND includes the ability to move anywhere in time and space.

This could mean a grounded scientific dimension like our reality.

It could mean something that is a blending of the two.

It could mean strange worlds we never imagined.

Rule 21: continued

This could bind creatures into your service, that could be virtually anything from the game or in any fiction.

Keep in mind anything brought into the game, conforms to the Homebrew rules herein.  So Superman would have stats conforming to the game.  Even grand Cthululhu would be something more like a highly stated giant mind flayer.

This could also be used to bind or curse a creature in a way not otherwise defined in the game.

Wish magic can take you to any plane, defined in this game or any other.

So, traveling to any version of reality or umbra of the world of darkness, under these mechanics is possible.

This could include different versions of the cosmology of DND.

Rule 21: continued

This can also include dimensions and worlds that are not entirely fantasy based.

Rule 21: continued

This could even include modified versions of the game as it used to be in its history.
