What would it be like for many of the greatest fantasy heroes and villains to come to this world?   Would they be the same?

What if the magical powers and advantages they enjoyed were locked only to the world they are from?  How would they adapt?

As much as the fish out of water troupe is played, it is done so for a reason.  When done well, it can make for amazing stories.

This is a comedy about good and evil.   Not necessarily just from the traditional sense, but from the sense of how two opposing sides can completely misrepresent and misunderstand one another. 

It is also about the heroic and the demonic having to deal with the same mundane problems that can make our own lives shitty.  Will they rise to the occasion or fall under the constant weight that a mundane existence can bring?

Do not take the names at face value.  These are not the characters you are expecting.  They are refugees from a world called Ente Isla.

Before they could finish the climatic battle to finish the last great war, the Demon King and the Hero Emilia take a gate to a version of modern Tokyo.  They are immediately confused by the lack of magical power of our modern world.

Titans are reduced to kittens.   They go from superheroes and supervillains to people who can not stand up against the local police.

This modern world is not like theirs.   They have to adapt and change their habits.

They also paradoxically end up helpless against the uncaring grind of the modern world. They are outsiders that must struggle to blend in to fit in.

Season one of this one is like season one of One Punch man.   I watched each about 5 times and still love both of them. 

This is the only thing I've ever scene that could make a scene, that was literally a metaphor for disarming a bomb, funny. It's currently on Crunchyroll.
