And so the Guardian has retreated into the annals of history. From there, she will continue to chronicle our civilization's legends and watch over you.Maybe she’s already sketching out your chapter - your triumphs, your turning points, your moments of bravery so subtle they’ll take a historian’s eye to recognize. She’ll jot down the way you kept going when no one saw. The way you smiled through doubt. The way you made someone else feel like they mattered.
She never needed to be seen to be present. Even now, she’s perched somewhere just out of sight, curious, gentle, ink-stained fingers flipping through time, waiting to see where you’ll go next. And if that’s true, then you're sure to meet her again. Because one day, the very legends YOU go on to make from this moment... might end up inked into her notebook. And even if that owl forgets (she will), she'll always carry those deeds with her, then and into the rest of civilization's days.
So don’t look back. Don’t linger in the ruins. History waits for no one, but it does remember. So get out there and forge new legends of your own... and give her a tale worth scribbling in the margins.

I feel so honored to have been a hooman. It makes me sad to think that it's over. I hope we can keep a Part of this Community alive, so that No hooman has to feel lonely. I think this way we can carry Mumeis Spirit onward. We may be Strangers to one another but we are were united through Mumei and WE can still be through Out shared memories of her. Let's Moom on fellow hoomans, so that that familiar Oh Hi does Not die Out.@kieth6948

Moom rarely allows herself to get sentimental on stream and it feels 10 times sadder when she inevitably does these past few days :'D
I'm gonna miss her

Mooms graduation situation is a bit different, she really wanted to continue the activity its just that her coughing condition doesnt allow her to do that. That what makes it super sadge, hearing her constant coughing just breaks my heart. I hope her condition can get better with long rest and proper medical treatment 🙁

Man... I am more sad that Mumei is graduating more than gura... I mean gura also loved the idol activities and all like mumei but difference is Mumei can't continue to do it because of her health, because of the cough that has been with her for years now and doesn't seem to go away... I don't even watch her often and she's not even my oshi but man... I didn't even felt sad when Sana, Fauna, Aqua and A-chan had graduated but with Mumei's graduation, it's just sad for me, it's so freaking sad...

I know the big day is technically tomorrow, but I might as well say it here; Mumei, you were the one who managed to drag me into this rabbit hole when you debuted, an I'm grateful for that. I was going through a rough summer when you came along, and watching you and the rest of HoloEN turned out to be a great means to take my mind off the pain. As a hooman, I'm proud to share so many interests, so many moments and so many laughs. Even though this is the start of the end of the road, I wouldn't trade these past 4 years for anything (except maybe the moments where I probably felt like a genuine pain in the neck). Thank you for introducing me to Hololive, for being my first vtuber in general, and above all else, for being my kamioshi! I hope your next new start will do as much for you as this one did for me, but until then, I bid you a fond and final farewell!
"Successful is the person who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of children, who leaves the world better than they found it, who has never lacked appreciation for the earth's beauty, who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 - April 27, 1882)
"Agape is something of the understanding, creative, redemptive goodwill for all men. It is a love that seeks nothing in return. It is an overflowing love; it's what theologians would call the love of God working in the lives of men. And when you rise to love on this level, you begin to love men, not because they are likeable, but because God loves them."

Once in a while, an owl comes along and leaves a mark on your heart. You’ve been the kindest owl.
You were the first I truly felt connected to, so genuine, so full of care, carrying us through storms just by being yourself.Whenever you come to mind, it’s the good memories I’ll never be ready to let go of.
This isn’t goodbye, you’ll always have a home in our hearts.Thank you, Mooms, for your beautiful voice, your care, and the warmth you shared. Wherever your wings take you, we’ll be smiling under the same sky you helped make brighter. 🤎

You know what's more heartbreaking? Mumei loves doing this. She loves singing like this.
But her throat, her consistent coughing during streaming, making her can't handle it anymore especially if Hololive is moving towards the idol path (more singing, rehearsal, vocal training, singles, albums, 3D events, solo concerts like Calli, etc).
It is not heartbreaking because it was my first time losing an oshi in Hololive, it was because of her inability to continue doing things she loves due to chronic issue.

Mumei sang "Pallete" during the 1st HoloEN concert, now Towa made a cover of "mumei" 😢
I love the respect they have for each other despite language barrier.
You could feel Towa's emotion while singing this that I honestly cant help but cry.
I can only imagine how much she cried while recording this.
Thank you for making this Towa, your love for Mumei will never be forgotten!

She even kept in Mumei's vocal chops, so in this cover they're singing together... 🥹
Appearing in chat during karaoke, anecdotes of them hanging out in Japan, and all manner of collabs. Not to mention GTA. Towa's love for "Mumi" is well documented and always moved me beyond words. This is an eternal testament to their bond.

"I don’t know your name or what you look like
Yet you feel so familiar
Making up for what we’re missing
We laugh and we smileWithin this world, you are somewhere"
"Even if all of this turns out to be a mirage
I’ll still feel your presence out thereI don’t know your name or what you look like
Say “goodbye” and it will all be over
Without you, this void will only grow
No matter what, I’ll find you soonWithin this world, where are you?"

Legitimately gave me chills. It evokes a certain melancholy/existential feeling that can be hard to pull off without seeming saccharine. A great way to honor Mumei.

That ending was evil, but I'm guessing that's what you wanted us to feel. Throughout the video you talk about everything and all the graduates, but more specifically about the EN graduates, starting with Sana, Ame, Fauna, Gura, and then Mumei. That last clip of Fauna talking about that dream of them passing around $5 to make each other smile was so wholesome that's when the tears started. This whole video started reminding me of all the sad graduations, of all the tears that were shed, like Kronii crying at Ame's graduation. I've felt the same way for all of them, and now after finishing this video too.Even though for some of them it's been years, it feels like it was only yesterday that it happened. The memories they made together, which we as the viewers witnessed, we'll always remember them and the way they made us feel. It's kind of profound, but I imagine that this experience is only more truly profound for the girls in question. I hope they're happy, and I hope you're happy for making me feel this way.
I guess the end message is that you wanted us to remember, or at least to never forget them, past, present, or future. And to that I'll say, contrary to popular opinion, I think we never forget them or those memories even after they graduate. At least I vow never to forget, even if they become indies; their past memories and joy they brought us will forever be locked in my heart. Because even though graduations are sad, the memories we all made together along the way will forever remain happy memories. So thanks for making this incredibly touching video; it really put it all into perspective in a positive light. Thank you.

I sat with this video for a while before I decided to make this comment because I honestly find it incredibly profound. I feel like you've made something really special here, not just because of the high quality of the content, but because I feel like Vtubing has been missing this sort of well thought out, reflective approach to a medium that has genuinely impacted the contemporary global zeitgeist. I suppose that's the catch, much of what makes Vtubing appealing is the raw humanity of this paradoxically virtual medium and in moments like these, you unfortunately can't help but soak in the sobering reality of the ephemeral nature of it all.I really love your final message about the entropic nature of life as it relates to the medium - it's quietly comforting. I mean, I'm no spring chicken - I've experienced the comings and goings of many people in my life and yet, here I am, sat watching a video chronicling the short ''life'' of a Vtuber. A person who I don't even know, but whose anonymity didn't matter due to the real impact their presence had on so many.
I genuinely loved this video. Incredibly thought provoking. I really felt like I was taken on a journey and for that, thank you.
