Right now from the Hosting side, we are getting more traffic in an hour than what the Statistics widgets is tracking on the bottom of the page in a day. Much of the traffic is European and Asian, which might also explain why even Google is not doing a great job of tracking anything either as a separate process (Google appears to just care about Google search engine traffic, possibly on Chrome only).
When we invested in the website we avoid personal use plans due to the low bandwidth and number of users for the site. We invested at a very high price point to avoid these issues later.
A side effect of this traffic and rapid growth is that our website is bugging out, as the Business plan is getting overwhelmed. What's weird about that is the plan was made for multiple business websites, each with high traffic. We are only using this one.
So you know, the website is getting jammed up enough that in some cases that I've had to roll back the site to an earlier save date. I do not think this is a Denial of Service Attack. I just think we are driving enough worldwide interest that the servers are getting overwhelmed.
The rollbacks are necessary as the website enters a state where the users can't log on. If there is a better method of restoring service, we will figure it out soon.
