The Status merit can be bought multiple times to reflect status in different groups, communities or organizations. Dots in status confer certain advantages

• They can be added as a bonus to social rolls involving members of that group.
• They afford access to that group's resources or facilities (within limits)
• They can potentially block another character's use of social merits likeAllies, Mentor andContacts.

Status must be maintained through regular contact, however.

 

 

As a matter of Homebrew more in line with the original use of this Background, this can add dice to social rolls (Charisma or Manipulation) for those within the vampire organization.  It's much in line with the Werewolf background trait Pure breed.

1 - Known: Neonate

2- Respected: an Ancilla

3- Influential: an Elder

4- Powerful: a member of the primogen (or a Bishop)

5- Luminary: a prince (or Archbishop)
