It's time to party. HAUNT has a tradition of hosting online events in games to build the community. It's time to do so again.
So, I would suggest, that it is time to take a break. It's time to take a break and as many a beer commercial has suggested, it is time to hit your favorite poison.
This Saturday, April 3rd, from 1 - 5 pm EDT ( 6 pm to 11 pm BST {London} / 10 am to 2 pm PDT {Los Angles}), we'll be at the new bar saying hello to both fleets and individuals, both allies and adversaries. We invite every friendly player and fleet to do the same.
First, as most people may not be aware, STO has its own privately dedicated radio station. There should be no reason not be listening to the same soundtrack, so tune into http://www.subspace-radio.net/ and listen to yourself become part of STO history.
Second, this is BYOB party. Since it's of limited value to drink in game, we the players shall do it. Everyone is invited to participate as if they are out at their own local watering hole. People under their culture's drinking age are encouraged to massively caffeinate themselves silly.
Third, this is a mixer. That means feel free to move not just between factions, but between the three different play styles of gamers: Pve, Pvp and Rp.
Are you a Rper? This entire player made episode would be right up your alley. Just come on by and be yourself.
We're currently looking for RP judges to do something truly special with the event, with ideas ranging from a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre style of RP game to something more. If you have an RP fleet with an idea or wish to help judge some of the best performances out there, you can volunteer here or give me a buzz at @Laylyn. The RP part of the event runs the whole way through.
Are you a Pver? Your invited to meet new people to recruit for infected runs while swilling more alcohol or caffeine than you would on your average Superbowl Sunday. Once thou art good and tanked try a booze run on your favorite piece of pve. We'll also be hosting a timed event to see who can clear infected the quickest.
The race launches at 3 PM. We'll be look for a host of judges to monitor and fairly judge the event, you can volunteer here or contact me at @Laylyn.

For those that would like to try ground PVP (themetacially suggesting the desserted facitily and shanty town maps):
You can try the Montgomery Scott "You might want to try rephrasing that laddey" division. That's right, it's a pvp, player created bar brawl match with no weapons allowed. It's just fists and kits.
This division runs from 2 to 3 PM EDT.
You can try the Jean-Luc Picard "A couple of surly naussicans", stabbed through the heart division. That's right, it's a pvp, player created bar match with only melee, kits, and fists.
This division runs from 3 to 4 PM EDT.
You can also try the Benjamin Sisko "I can live with it" division. That's right, it's full on ground pvp, rather than just friendly fists and blades.
This division runs from 4 to 5 EDT.
