WOD Artifact Level Spirit Talisman: The Watch of Amelia Watson

 

There will be no way to explain this without first going into the work this is based off of.   For those who have not seen it:

What follows is a logical break down of how this would play out in the WOD, the animation and in Hololive lore.   As much as you might normally believe otherwise, this would not be something for the faint of heart.

WOD Artifact Level Spirit Talisman: The Watch of Amelia Watson

Level: Unknown   Gnosis: 10

 

This simple gold watch dates to Victorian era.  It may literally only have one owner at a time, and it will not be attuned to anyone else while that owner is alive.  

This is not an item for the weak.  This is an item specifically crafted by a group of spirits at least at Incarna level to help protect the world from the apocalypse to come.

In the world of darkness setting, it would most likely seek out a changeling breed or mage.  Baring that, it would seek out any human or supernatural that could help it fulfill its primary mission to protect the planet Earth and human race.

Though it has always been for the greater good, the watch has caused the untimely death of its users, repeatedly.  There is virtually no chance any user will live a long and happy life.

 

This item will never be more than ten feet from its attuned host.  It will teleport back to its host’s hand or pocket, if anything tries to steal it.

It’s primary essence is a bound Jaggling time spirit.  In addition, it has received the blessings of six other spirits that are at least of incarnate level.  Thus, this is an item that combines at least parts of the essence of seven spirits.

The blessing Ouro Kronii, The Warden of Time:

 

The user may move anywhere into history or back to the future.  This power is locked to block times that would be instant death for the user or others.  The Warden of Time directly blocks any action that would endanger innocents.  The Warden of Time also blocks any hard timeline event or anything that is part of the user’s own direct past from being altered.

This power may be used at the cost of one willpower, one gnosis, or one quintessence.  The user may bring up to seven companions with them.

The cost of the Warden of Time’s blessing is that the user is predestined to be at the center point of any apocalyptic event.  They are literally mandated to attempt to intervene by a servant of Time itself.

The blessing of Tsukumo Sana, The Speaker of Space:

 

The user may move anywhere in the universe.  This power is locked to block destinations would be instant death for the user or others.  For example, the user can’t teleport themselves into deep space or the middle of the sun.

This power may be used at the cost of one willpower, one gnosis, or one quintessence.  It may be used with the power of time above for double the cost.  The user may bring up to seven companions with them.  If this also includes crossing dimensions the users must make stamina checks not to become violently nauseous from the extreme jolt of the trip.

The cost of the Speaker of Space’s blessing is that the user is predestined to be at the locational center point of any apocalyptic event.  They are literally mandated to attempt to intervene by a servant of Space itself.

The blessing of Ceres Fauna, The Keeper of Nature:

 

The user will not carry any germ, virus, curse, or parasite from one dimension or time that would kill people in another.  Nature literally removes the containments to ensure the safety of people on both sides of the trip.

If the user is a normal human, the user may also soak lethal and aggravated damage.  This is something that is normally impossible under normal circumstances but will be no less horrifying even in survival.

As a mercy, Fauna would never allow the user to be someone who had not already survived incidents that a person could have died of shock.   The nature of the blessing would not save someone who would not survive horrid wounds.

The blessing of Hakos Baelz, the Embodiment of Chaos:

 

The user is capable of nearly impossible tasks in the moment of desperation.  The watch will allow the user to reduce the difficulties of certain actions to no more than 5.   The cost of using the reduction of difficulty is the user must stay still every tick down in difficulty.  This is done in 45 second increments.  When the crossing of both space and time is involved through multiple dimensions this spell is known as “Calculating Route”.  Against a maximum in game difficulty of 13, this would require a 6-minute helpless prone position to make happen.

As a price for this luck, the user has the misfortune of always finding themselves in the middle of emergencies of at least local importance.  They have literally been charged by Entropy itself to intervene.

The blessing of Nanashi Mumei, the Guardian of Civilization:

 

The user is capable of rapid intuitive understanding.   If needed, this blessing can rewrite the wiring of a person’s primary reading, writing and speaking language to the most common useful one where they are at.   It can even do so for companions brought.   The issue is they will have their original skills returned and not retain what they temporarily learned.   Thus, anything recorded or written down will just look undecipherable later.

This power also can limit a human’s perceptions to something they can understand and translate metaphorically.  For example, the film theatre at the end of Myth’s Bad Ending wasn’t that at all.   The blessing translated the images and information into something Amelia could understand and act on.

There are no limitations on this blessing other than what is described.  Despite her well known acts of aggression, the Guardian Owl is always overly protective and soft on humans overall, even though she’s as likely to admit it as she is likely to own up to secretly being a horse girl.

The blessing of IryS, the Embodiment of Hope:

 

This is a simple Enchantment, that has no purpose, unless humanity is on the brink of extinction.   The spell of Hope is to simply take the user to wherever humanity might have a chance to survive in the right set of circumstances.

IryS put no limitations on this.  If it is used, things are already desperate enough.
