Harry Potter and the Princess of Slytherin, a Malfoid Musical
This is a work in progress marking the best of the music currently telling the Malfoid internet story. This has been more complicated than at first glance as telling it out of sequence kills the Shakespearean drama unleashed by the best narratives of this concept.
ADayASMR has some of the best story beats told as an anime opening for each book as a season, these are listed to start to add a sense of order. Zandran has some of the best characterization music of multiple characters I've found, which adds a lot to the tragic romance the story tells when one central character is changed. Many other artists had inspired moments of genius as well.
That said, in defense of J. K. Rowling, it's a bit unfair to expect a high concept author to do a really good romance. George Lucas did the high concept Star Wars, but his own characters tended to lack romantic dialogue to the point of being called wooden when lacking Harrison Ford's ad lib. I don't find John Ronald Reuel Tolkien's high concept work to be romantic either.
Keep in mind that William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet was largely based on a 1562 poem of Arthur Brooke, "The Tragicall Historye of Romeus and Juliet". Like that, the internet has rewoven a high concept piece of fiction into a Shakespearean style Romance by recasting Draco Malfoy as a girl. This makes a lot of narrative sense in that Rowling has said the character was based on bullying she had received from other girls.
This is a character change that makes an "enemies to lovers" addition to the narrative work. It's a stronger story than the work's focus on Ginny Weasley by most posted opinions. It turns the book into the largest franchise redemptive arc, since Darth Vader in Star Wars. It also turns the end of the series into the original theme that "love conquers all".
Within two weeks, the fandom through the new versions of AI had produced enough musical content to create a literal musical out of the seven books. I'll post the songs in order with the lyrics when given. I'll add the playlist at the end when this is finished.
